This is intended to allay some of the fears concerning the use of Hypnosis, the myths and mystery surrounding which, are totally undeserved, and to make clear what takes place is very normal and non-magical, with predictable results.

There is absolutely no question of being controlled or manipulated. In Hypnosis you are not ‘asleep’ - you are in a state of ‘focused concentration’ and often more aware of what is taking place than usual. You cannot be made to do anything that you did not want to do, and anybody (except people of below average intelligence, very young children and someone under the influence of drink or drugs) can enter the hypnotic state.

The state of Hypnosis, is a totally natural state, and is very pleasant and particularly relaxing, and you can still talk quite easily while in this state. The most modern advanced techniques of Hypnotherapy are being increasingly used to compliment conventional medicine, where it can be an alternative to drugs for anesthesia, to accelerate the healing process, relieve stress and control pain.

A good definition of Hypnosis is: “MAGNIFIED CONCENTRATION”

Using some of the most advanced and up to date Scientific methods to induce Hypnosis, you will be guided into a state of mind able to deal with unresolved issues or accept changes in habits or behavior and focus on your desired areas of change. To an onlooker, it might seem as if you are totally asleep, but in fact, you will normally feel very relaxed, you will remain awake and aware. Hypnosis is a technique of applied Psychology totally devoid of any mystical powers, no flowing robes or swinging watches
